Splendour Day 2

What a great crowd last night! Every artist was giving it their all to keep everyone warm. Whether it was Lewis Capaldi making you want to grab someone and hold them close, or Franz Ferdinand and Vampire Weekend throwing together their vibiest tunes to really get those feet loose, each artist had us feeling that certain way.

If the only impression that matters is the first, then day one of the full Splendour program will be the one that stays with us. Before the sun set over Byron parklands punk outfit The Bronx from LA had the crowd moshing as if they didn’t have three days of festival ahead of them.

I first started producing in early 2014, and that was just coz I wanted to make beats for Dev (MC half of the duo I’m a part of, Slim Set). At the time I was just getting into darker UK stuff like Night Slugs and still obsessing over the production on Boy in Da Corner.
