Where to Find Cheap (or Free) Burgers This Week

If there was a food that needed an international day dedicated to itself, it’d have to be burgers. Their pliability, a simple formula of filling between buns, has led chefs and cooks around the world to take their liberties with the food, with an uncountable number of variations. Whether you’re after a classic American cheeseburger, an Aussie fish and chip shop burger with the lot, or a gourmet creation, there’s a burger awaiting that two handed grasp. This year, international burger day falls on Tuesday, May 28, so shops are giving away deals over the weekend and during the week. Get ahead of the lines with our list of places below.

Burger Project

Neil Perry’s Burger Project is going all out, once again giving away 500 burgers on Tuesday. With ten stores in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, each store has 50 burgers to give away, so choose your approach wisely. Perry’s crew will be giving away the Classic Cheese, consisting of a beef patty, cheese, pickles, onion, mustard and their own special sauce all loaded into a milk bun.
