Moving to Australia at the age of two, Ethiopian-born rapper Yippy is slowly cementing himself as one of the more diverse voices in the Sydney hip/hop scene. His latest EP, Lost in translation, consisted of five varied tracks that incorporate a range of influences to create bright, electronic-based rap music.
The 212’s most infamous female rapper has returned with a radical departure from everything she is known for. Graeme Pogson and Ella Thompson are GL, a Melbourne based electronic duo who haven’t had a release since their 2017 double A-sided 12” Destiny/Reflect.
