Vivienne Westwood’s FW24/25 Campaign

Vivienne Westwood’s FW24/25 Campaign

Vivienne Westwood is preparing for the upcoming cooler seasons with its Fall/Winter 2024/25 campaign. The label, renowned for its illustrious history and iconic blend of glamour and punk, continues to celebrate London subcultures and global styles through a uniquely artistic perspective. This season, the focus is on the allure of faded glamour.

Renowned photographer Juergen Teller once again captures this vision. For the campaign, Vivienne Westwood's creative director, Andreas Kronthaler, chose the charming coastal town of Margate in southeast England as the backdrop. The photographs brilliantly showcase Westwood's enduring blend of elegance and edge, featuring pieces like a classic black wool dress coat and vibrant Lochcarron of Scotland tartan set against stark concrete settings. One standout look features a shimmering gold dress paired with towering boots, contrasting sharply with the raw power of a motorcycle.

Reflecting on the location, Kronthaler shared, "I first visited Margate in the late 90s, and it struck me as the epitome of an English seaside town. I've always wanted to shoot a campaign there. Although it has changed significantly since then, it remains a place where I feel both comfortable and welcomed. The people are incredibly kind, and the town's picturesque quality and unique seaside light make it perfect for photography. We shot in three locations: the Margate caves, the Dreamland parking lot, and the Nayland Rock hotel."
