Coming in for this week’s mix of the week, BYO introduces Anjunadeep’s Edition 54 with Otto Yilperttula who goes by his recognised stage name, YOTTO.

Aside from producing and mixing electronic music, YOTTO enjoys walks in the park, nights by the fire and deadpan stares across dinner tables. A Finnish DJ, song writer and record producer, the 31-year-old is signed to English deep house label, Anjunadeep who are a known label to sign world-renowned artists.

Yotto had received 5 ‘Essential New Tune’ nods from Pete Tong and 2 ‘Hottest Record In the World’ selections on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show. Supported by some of the biggest names in electronic music ranging from Sasha, Laurent, Garnier, Jamie Jones, Kölsh, Patrice Baumel and Adriatique and DJ’d along side Above & Beyond, M83, Rufus, London Grammar and Lane 8. With his selling list of remixes of celebrated artists, Gorillaz, Royksopp and Coldplay. Yotto has also collaborated with his younger brother who performed vocals on tracks like “Wondering” under the alias CAPS.
