Following the release of ‘Wonder’ earlier this year, San Mei was named the Triple J Unearthed Artist of the Week in May. This momentum has continued to put San Mei in the spotlight ahead of her second EP, titled ‘Heaven’.
Be it techno, drum and bass or dubstep, Big Ting Recordings strives to broaden Australia’s mix of electronic dance music and develop Sydney’s distinct bass sound. For this month’s BTR mix, they’ve collaborated with Sydney’s own Natalia Newling from FBi Radio to deliver a spring mix that’s heavy on the local artists and even heavier on the bass.

Following up from their single ‘Missing’ with Headie One released in April this year, London based rap group Belly Squad have returned with a solid beat in ‘Ribena’, producing a light, easy-to-listen to track. Mixing rap and afrobeat over a tropical house groove, the trio show the world exactly why they are trailblazers in the British hip hop scene.
With this mix from Sisters With Soul, Nadine Marjan and Tanya Rahme - also known as MissTanya - give us a schooling in funk, jazz, and, of course, soul. Taking inspiration from some of the greats, Marjan and Rahme show us how these influences run through to contemporary artists who are still innovating in this genre.

Distilling the compressed energy of Melbourne’s basement clubs over a diverse sixty minutes, TuneSquad have grounded their heavy bass and heart pumping pace in a mix of different genres.
One of the most acclaimed producers of grime's second wave, London-based Mr. Mitch returns to his own label Gobstopper Records to produce his latest five track EP, Primary Progressive. Ahead of the EP’s release on October 26, Mr. Mitch has released ‘Settle’ to tease the audience with a stripped back track.
