Let’s be honest, Billy Fox’s new song, Let’s be honest, is a hit

After a busy 2018, Sydney-based indie-electronic producer Billy Fox returns with his single, Let’s Be Honest, from his EP LUNG, due early May.

Mixed by Chris Collins (Gang of Youths, Middle Kids, Ruby Fields) and mastered by Steve Smart (Vance Joy, Tash Sultana, Dean Lewis), the dreamy Jack Garrett-esque song infuses soft-vocals with sultry jazz and RnB grooves to create a funky and emotive concoction.

Fox talked of the meaning behind Let’s Be Honest in the press release:

“This song’s purpose is to reflect on this idea and give me a stark reminder that whatever I’m doing, I can always be better. Relationships allow this to happen- almost like holding a big mirror up to ourselves and challenging us to do better. It’s a beautiful thing.”

He has travelled the country multiple times and sold out at headline shows, supporting bands and artists like Glass Animals, Sahara Beck, Harts and The Aston Shuffle.

Jazz Legend Is Set To Fly Down Under

Herbie Hancock is very much an icon in the jazz community. A pianist, keyboardist, bandleader, composer and actor, Herbie was considered a musical child prodigy. He began studying piano when he was just seven years old and a few years later, was playing Mozart with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Later he joined the Miles Davis Quintet where he helped redefine the role of a jazz rhythm section, shaped the post-bop sound and became one of the most notable figures in modern music. With a career spanning five decades and 14 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for River: The Joni Letters, he continues to amaze audiences everywhere.
