Dr. Martens Unveils Archival Sandal Collection Featuring Jordss and Lady Banton
Dr. Martens has unveiled its new campaign featuring DJ Jordss and musician Lady Banton to launch its archival sandal collection. Inspired by the 1980s "blues parties" when the brand first introduced sandals, the campaign celebrates the era's creativity and culture.
Lady Banton reflects on the vibrant music scene of the 80s, where her love for disco, soul, and reggae blossomed. DJ Jordss, influenced by soundsystem culture and carnival, draws inspiration from the 80s and 90s, blending old and new music.
The campaign, shot at Notting Hill Carnival's Tabernacle, highlights Dr. Martens' iconic Lakten leather platform mules, Wrenlie leather fisherman sandals, and Joseff leather buckle slide sandals. Check out the collection in the gallery below, and shop for the styles on Dr. Martens' website.
