A$AP Ferg Rebrands as "Ferg" with New Release "MDMX"
After announcing in 2021 that he would drop the A$AP from his name upon signing with Roc Nation, Ferg has followed through and made his comeback. While his status with A$AP Mob is still unclear, the rapper has released a new track and music video titled “MDMX” on his YouTube channel.
Currently available only on YouTube, the hard-hitting track showcases classic, old-school Ferg.
In the chorus, he declares, “Flex, jets (Yeah) / Hummers, Lex’ (Btch) / Rolex, more sex (Yeah) / Five-hundred (Btch) on baguettes (Yeah) / I feel myself like I’m on X.” Just last week, Ferg connected with A$AP Rocky, and the duo previewed new music on Instagram Live. The track they shared is rumored to appear on Rocky’s upcoming album, Don’t Be Dumb, though this is yet to be confirmed.
As of now, “MDMX” remains exclusive to YouTube and SoundCloud and has not been released on streaming services.
