NEEDLES and PURPLE THINGS, two renowned Japanese brands, have joined forces to create a functional and comfortable capsule collection. The nine-piece line combines the iconic motifs of both brands, including the nine-stripe pattern and butterfly branding from NEEDLES. Of course, PURPLE THINGS' signature purple colour is applied to classic silhouettes.
This marks the first collaboration between the two labels, with a theme inspired by camouflage, precisely the tiger stripe pattern. The resulting collection offers a range of everyday casual pieces, all featuring combined design motifs from both brands. The track pants and jacket combo come in two colourways, each incorporating the signature purple hue from PURPLE THINGS and the nine stripes and butterfly motif from NEEDLES. One option is a solid purple, while the other boasts a tiger camo print.
The collaboration also includes a multi-pocketed vest inspired by the U.S. military BDU jacket and a bucket hat and cap in the camo pattern. The collection also features a simple white t-shirt with co-branded graphics, including the flower and butterfly motif. Additional bag accessories are available as well.
