Premiere: Acoustic (EP) by Riley Pearce

Riley Pearce is the kind of musician that looks like your friends younger brother. He is fresh-faced and seems filled with endearing nature and when you see his youthful smile you can’t help but smile yourself. It’s not until he opens his mouth however that he moves into an entirely new image. The Perth born singer is able to create music that soothes the soul and incites emotions of relaxation and serenity.

Pearce is a holistic artist, with accessible lyrics and extremely considered musical stylings that have seen him grow a legion of fans all over the world. His single “Brave” surpassed 23  million worldwide streams, making it clear that his reflective songwriting and laid back coastal nature resonate with more than just folk music lovers.

"Last year I recorded a few acoustic versions of songs with Garrett Kato and then toured my The Landing Songs EP around Australia, playing in amazing creative spaces and halls. It was an incredible tour, done in a way that allowed me to play the songs in a setting they would suit best. Afterwards I recorded Rewind - a song I would slip into my sets and often find myself humming on the road and a cover of On Melancholy Hill by the Gorillaz. We pieced them together and made a little acoustic EP which is now available worldwide." - Riley Pearce

Starting 2020 with a bang, Pearce has decided to drop a body of work that brings together the acoustic version of some of his greatest releases in the last few years.

Acoustic (EP) see’s an offering of five tracks.

Track-List: Acoustic EP
Windmill (Acoustic)
Brave (Acoustic)
Elephants (Live)
On Melancholy Hill
Rewind (Acoustic)
