Bad Friday 2020 Line-up Announced

The annual Bad Friday music festival is making its return to Marrickville this year with a huge expansion to two days. A decade after the festivals humble beginnings in the Annandale Hotel, the Bad Friday Weekender is staying true to form with a line-up filled to the brim with local, home-grown talent. Sydney’s only two day festival will take place at Railway Parade in Marrickville on Friday, April 10th and Saturday, April 11th.

The Friday line-up sees notable names like the ARIA nominated Holy Holy, the internationally renowned Twin Peaks and headliners POND. The band to see on Friday is without a doubt Shady Nasty. Their dark fusion of punk and hip/hop is not only one of Sydney’s most unique sounds, but also an unforgettable spectacle to witness live. The Saturday will be headlined by Sydney’s favourite electronic/R’N’B duo Cosmo’s Midnight, who will be premiering some tracks off their forthcoming sophomore album. Speaking of sophomore albums, the other notable name for the Saturday line-up is the funk/soul six piece Winston Surfshirt, hot off the release of their second album in 2019.
