Bushfire Appeal Concerts: When and Where You Can Help
The NSW Bushfires continue to decimate the Australian countryside, with conditions remaining just as dangerous through the rest of Summer. Firefighters remain on the frontlines and need all the support they can get. The Aussie music community has come together to host a series of concerts, donating all profits to help with the bushfire appeal. These charity events are a perfect opportunity to both support our nation’s firefighters and see some amazing acts at the same time.
HOT TRACKS & FAT STACKS
The first event takes place tomorrow, Saturday the 25th, in St. Kilda VIC. Our neighbouring state has also suffered from these bushfires, as the devastation has spread across borders. From midday till late at the Saint Hotel, Victorian can catch DJ sets from hosts Kingswood, as well as the likes of Hayley Mary of the Jezebels, Slum Sociable and the DMAs’ Johnny Took. The hotel is also hosting raffles, auctions, games and a countdown for triple J’s Hottest 100. All funds raised will go to the Red Cross Australia’s Disaster Relief & Recover Fund, The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal’s Disaster Resilience and Recovery Fund, and Greening Australia. Entry is free, but the hotel is asking for donations at the door, so dig deep to help our firefighters. For more information, visit here: www.fatstacksfundraiser.com
