Brunch British
For the month of May, swap out your avo toast and bircher bowls for the full British brekky at Butcher and the Farmer at Tramsheds. Kicking off this weekend, the big breakfast that began them all is being whipped up by ex-My Kitchen Rules duo Will Stewart and Steve Flood and will feature Smeg’s Union Jack toaster.
Stewart and Flood will be drawing on their shared heritage, being from the British isles, and their love of the carnivorous joys of the English breakfast. As Flood highlights, “As proud Brits, we’re passionate about carrying traditions of old forward to
the new generations. The Full English Breakfast might not be the epitome of culinary
excellence, but it has undeniable heart, soul and huge sense of nostalgia that we hope will
bring back fond memories of gathering around the family table.”
With the temperature just dipping below 20 degrees in Sydney, the warm and comforting menu is just the ticket. On the menu are all the classics, from eggs fried sunny side up to crisp and gooey perfection, Butcher and the Farmer’s signature pork and fennel sausage, confit mushrooms, house braised beans and a hash brown. Also on offer is unlimited prosecco and Pimm’s for 1.5 hours.
Popping out of the Smeg Union Jack toasted will be Sonoma sourdough, ready to be loaded with all the toppings on offer. For bookings and info, head here: https://butcherandthefarmer.com/
