On trend, on budget, and now on the web: Zara to launch Australian online store

Zara fans, rejoice! No longer will you have to trek to your nearest outlet and battle through the crowds: the Spanish retail giants are finally launching an online store for us Aussies.

The welcome news was announced on Zara’s Australian website, with a short – but very sweet – message: “Dear Australia, shop online March 14”.

Their huge ranges for men, women, and kids encompass everything from clothing to accessories and are constantly updated to keep up with the latest trends – and best of all, for those of us on a budget, they’re super affordable.

Founded in 1975, Zara currently has more than 2100 stores spread around the globe. They first hit Australian shores with a Sydney store in 2011, and have since expanded to 19 outlets around the country.

With a private launch party for the online store at the Sydney Opera House on March 13th, you can ready your laptops, phones, and tablets for the next day, Wednesday March 14th, for a big hit of affordable fashion from the comfort of your bed, your seat on the train, or behind your boss’s back at work!

Until now, the Australian Zara website simply showed a list of store locations, but with the new e-store, you’ll be able to purchase womenswear, menswear, and kidswear – the only limit is your bank account.
